An oiled pearwood handle in three bristle configurations, each suited to a different fabric and purpose:

No. 01 — Stiff Black Bristle
The everyday workhorse. Wool, tailored pieces, upholstery, general use.

No. 02 — Cashmere
Graduated construction with dense black bristle at the center and a softer outer row. For fine knits and delicate fabrics that standard bristle would rough up.

No. 03 — Bronze Wire & Horsehair
For deeper work. Lifts embedded dirt and pet hair out of the weave; the horsehair finishes the surface once the wire has done its job.

All three handle velour and pile fabrics well.

About Bürstenhaus Redecker

In 1935, Friedrich Redecker learned the brushmaker's trade at a school for the blind in Soest, Germany, after losing his eyesight as a child. He built his own workshop from that training, selling brooms and brushes door to door in Versmold. Nearly ninety years and three generations later, the company still makes there, still by hand, still from the same instinct. The result is a range of beautifully constructed brushes, brooms, and home grooming tools, built to last decades in a working household.
