Lingering heat after sundown. Deep house, smoky vocals, loose percussion, and bass with some weight to it. Larry Heard and Black Coffee set the pace, with soul, jazz, and slower, stranger cuts slipping in around them. Warm, repetitive, a little seductive. Best played loud and late.
