Briano Glass Set of 2
Giberto made the Briano for his son-in-law, who joined the family when he married Giberto's daughter Vera. The shape comes from a historic glass at Palazzo Papadopoli, made in Tuscany in crystal and engraved with a field of stars. Built for brandy or scotch on the rocks, and the last toast of a long evening. A set of two.
Giberto Venezia is the Venetian house of Giberto Arrivabene, whose family home is Palazzo Papadopoli on the Grand Canal. Working with Murano's glassblowers and the city's artisans, the house makes glass, stone and objects for the table drawn from Venice's decorative past. Through December 31, Giberto Venezia is in residence at No. 162 Wentworth.
