Brown Glass Wine Coaster
Handblown by artist Chris Taylor, this wine coaster is crafted in the Venetian tradition using exceptionally thin glass. Its shallow bowl form is both sculptural and functional, intended to discreetly catch drips.
Through his studio, Craft Advisory, Taylor explores the intersection of art and design by transforming sculptural ideas into functional objects. Known for replicating everyday forms in glass—from bubble wrap to styrofoam—his work subverts the familiar while honoring tradition. The result is a quiet reimagining of the objects that surround us, distilled into forms that feel both elevated and approachable.
