Hand-pulled goat hair set in an oiled pearwood handle, made for surfaces that punish lesser tools. Piano lids, glass tabletops, lacquered finishes, polished stone — anything that shows a scratch or leaves a streak. The hair is soft enough to lift dust without touching the surface beneath it. Wash sparingly with lukewarm water and mild soap, squeeze gently, dry flat. Treated well, it lasts a lifetime.

About Bürstenhaus Redecker

In 1935, Friedrich Redecker learned the brushmaker's trade at a school for the blind in Soest, Germany, after losing his eyesight as a child. He built his own workshop from that training, selling brooms and brushes door to door in Versmold. Nearly ninety years and three generations later, the company still makes there, still by hand, still from the same instinct. The result is a range of beautifully constructed brushes, brooms, and home grooming tools, built to last decades in a working household.
