This decorative oval platter features a hand-painted portrait of the Roman Emperor Gaius Octavian, also known as Augustus, rendered in medium blue underglaze.
London-based artist and designer Giuseppe Parrinello draws deeply from his Italian heritage and a passion for classical revival. Antiquities often serve as his inspiration, reinterpreted through mould making and slip casting techniques to create unique, limited-edition decorative homewares. Each piece is handmade, ensuring every plate has its own distinct character and finish.
