Large Crystal Matchstrike
Hand-blown and hand-cut in England, Lucy Cope’s crystal match strikes bring a traditional cut-glass object to the table in miniature scale. The rounded form is cut with classic patterns that catch light across the colored crystal, while a sterling silver insert at the opening holds matches neatly in place.
The striking surface is integrated along the base, keeping the function discreet while preserving the clean silhouette of the object. Each piece is produced by English glassmakers using traditional cutting techniques developed for classic crystal tableware.
