Le Camélia Table Lamp
Le Camélia takes its cue from the centuries-old tradition of espalier, where flowering trees and shrubs are carefully trained along walls and trellises, their branches coaxed into graceful architectural form. Here, the camelia shrub is rendered in ceramic, its slender limbs bearing fruit in abundance, a sculptural nod to the orchard.
Designed in collaboration with Zac Zimmerman, each lamp in The Espalier Series explores a different garden motif—La Poire, Le Citron, La Pomme, La Grenade, Le Camélia, and La Tomate—reimagining the disciplined beauty of trained fruit trees in sculptural form. The collection reflects a shared interest in the garden as both inspiration and structure, translating botanical forms into objects that feel both composed and ornamental.

About the artist
Zac Zimmerman
The work of New York–based ceramic artist Zac Zimmerman explores botanical and natural forms through highly detailed hand-built porcelain sculpture. Each element is shaped and assembled individually, allowing for compositions that blur the line between decorative object and natural specimen.
Unlike wheel-thrown ceramics, Zimmerman primarily works through hand-building, shaping each branch, leaf, and structural element individually before assembling the final piece. This approach allows him to create complex sculptural compositions that blur the line between decroative object and natural specimen.
