Mid-Century Murano Spatter Glass Match Holder

The color alone earns its place on a shelf. Electric yellow at the base breaks into chartreuse as it climbs the ribbed body, deepening through forest green and finally to near-black at the rim. The whole gradient interrupted by flecks of aventurine scattered through the dark areas, copper and gold catching the light like embers in ash. The spatter technique is distinctly Murano: colors that don't swirl smoothly together but break into pools and islands, each piece coming out differently. Small enough to hold a votive or a bundle of matches.
