Monochrome Brush

The hen's wing is one of the oldest hand broom forms in the American tradition, and this version, made by Tia Harrington in Pittsburgh, walks a line between form and function. Cotton cordage and waxed linen in the same color family. In olive, it has the depth of aged canvas. In red, it reads closer to a dye that has lived in sunlight for a season. It effortlessly moves crumbs and dust with the same ease as the Shaker originals that inspired it. Hang it when not in use.
