Taper Candle Pair, Tall

The taper that started it all. The signature is the finely pointed tip, drawn to a slender peak that gives the whole candle its upright, tapering line.

The wax is fragrance-free paraffin from Europe's leading producer, the wick pure cotton, the surface a soft matte that reads as chalk rather than gloss. The foot is turned to a gentle cone, so the candle seats in nearly any holder without shimming or trimming. It burns down to roughly an inch from the base and puts itself out, though a lit flame is never left alone.

Care: Keep the wick short. Space candles at least 4" apart. Keep away from direct sunlight, draughts, and radiators. Self-extinguishing near the base; a candle extinguisher gives the cleanest result and keeps the wick intact.
