Terracotta Scena Del Mare

Inspired by the ancient mosaics of The Baths of Neptune in Ostia Antica, this terracotta vessel is hand-painted with mythical sea fish in black underglaze. Its generous size and intricate design make it a striking decorative piece. Each vessel is individually painted, ensuring no two are exactly alike.

Giuseppe Parrinello is a London based artist and designer whose Italian heritage has always drawn him to classical revival - its illustrations, shapes and material often finding their way into his work. Antiquities are often his starting point, reinterpreting the past into decorative homewares. Specializing in mould making and slip casting techniques, Giuseppe’s work is hand-made in limited editions. As a result, each piece is individual and has its own unique finish.
