Twisted Beeswax Candle

In a medieval town in Umbria, artisanal candle makers specialize in handcrafting the distinctive candle style “duplero,” meaning double. These sinuous double-helix candles have been produced in Italy for centuries and Collepino still hand-dips each candle, using techniques that date back to the Renaissance. Composed of 100% pure, natural beeswax, the candles’ color, ranging from bright amber to deep ochre, and sweet, subtle scent change with every seasonal production, in harmony with the pollen of wild-harvested beeswax. Dual hemp wicks produce a dramatic flame, with burning times of 1-4 hours depending on candle size.  Pairs with our Urbino Colossal Candleholders and Footed Candleholder.
